Enter Munir Mandviwalla, chairman of Temple University&#8217;s Department of Management Information Systems, one of TechRepublic&#8217;s top 10 MIS programs in the country. If you&#8217;ve rocked a collegiate program in the last ten years or so, you most likely have had experience with Blackboard or another piece of class-based software. You also probably hated it. Over the last few years, Munir has led a valiant charge in the educational realm, re-imagining the core concepts of a Learning Management System with WordPress and BuddyPress &#8211; and rebuilding an entire department&#8217;s functionality in the process.
