In 1989, he began learning hypertext development as part of an Aerospace Industries Association initiative to improve standards for technical documentation in the aerospace industry. In 1997, How started a small web hosting service that has grown to be US Server Net. After a decade of writing HTML, he discovered WordPress, and quickly became convinced that it represented the future of web publishing. Today, US Server Net specializes in managed WordPress hosting for small businesses, individuals, professionals, and non-profits. How&#8217;s primary professional interests are WordPress, open source software, and vulnerability management. His hobbies include dancing, cooking, and motorcycling.
