Hotel Accommodation
The Rodeway Inn Center City is our hotel. Our group is WordCampPhilly – be sure to mention that when calling for to make your own reservations. The Rodeway Inn Center City is located at 1208 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19107. For reservations, call (215) 546-7000.
The cost of the hotel and parking is as follows:
- $149 (first night) + $179 (second night) = $386 for 2-night stay includes all the fees + taxes
(Yes … that number is correct. $328 + fees/taxes = $386) - Parking: $12 for every 24 hours
NOTE: We have 15 rooms blocked for that weekend. They will be allocated on a first-come/first-served basis.

The University of the Sciences
With an accessible campus and new, air-conditioned buildings, the University of the Sciences provides an excellent venue for WordCamp. We’ll have access to WiFi throughout, as well as A/V in every room. In addition to the session rooms, you will find many places to have conversations with other participants and lots of opportunities for casual chats. There is free parking for hundreds of cars, as well as plenty of bike racks. Public transportation takes you right into the campus.

Sunday, June 14th – Contributor Day
WordCamp Philly Contributor Day (we used to call it Developer Day) will be Sunday, June 14th from 1pm-5pm, also at the University of the Sciences! We’ll be in the IPEX building.
Sunday Contributor Day will be less session based and more hands-on hacking! There’s no fixed agenda, but some of the things folks have worked on are:
Plugin development
Theming and theme development
Core contributions
Bring your laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and other gadgets and we’ll bring power and wifi!

The After Party!
The official WordCamp Philly After Party will be held at William Street Common located at 3900 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104. This is a 20 minute walk from the University of the Sciences. You can also take the #11 or #36 trolly to 36th and Chestnut, and walk the remaining 3 blocks.
You don’t want to miss this one! We’ll have drinks and food for everyone and you can rock out with the WordPress community 7pm to 10pm.
