WordCamp Philly is right around the corner, and we are so very excited to see and learn with all of you. As we’ve mentioned before, we’re all about accommodating any special needs we can.

Right now we’ve had no requests for the child-care services we are offering. This needs to be arranged well in advance in order to have sufficient professional staff on hand. Children can’t be dropped off the day of WordCamp without advance arrangement.

Because child care is costly, and cannot be refunded at the last minute, we will need to cancel this service in less than a week if it is not requested. The organizers would prefer to offer this service if it is needed, but  they do not want to be wasteful with the community’s money if there is no interest.

If you need child care, please reach out to us immediately so that we do not remove a service you’re counting on. If we still do not have any need for this service by 11:59 pm Thursday, October 12, we will pull the plug on child care.
