Notice: Traffic Detour During Event
Beginning Saturday, October 13, 2018, and continuing through Sunday, October 28, 2018, the area near 42nd Street and Woodland Avenue and surrounding streets will be closed to traffic as SEPTA begins a track renewal project. Access to the Loop Road and the University of the Sciences’ main parking lot will be available via 45th Street and Woodland Avenue only. During construction route 11 and 36 shuttle buses will be diverted to Chester Avenue.
The Woodland Avenue Bridge between 47th and 48th streets will be closed for replacement through June 2019. If accessing campus on Woodland Avenue from the south or Grays Ferry Avenue from the east, please follow detours. Route 11 and 36 trolleys will be diverted at 40th Street Portal via Chester Avenue to 49th and 50th streets in both directions.

Driving Directions
Whether you’re coming in from Interstate 95, the Pennsylvania Turnpike or the New Jersey Turnpike, you should travel to Interstate 76 to reach the University of the Sciences campus.
If you’re driving in on I-76 eastbound, take Exit 346B—University Avenue and keep right at the fork in the exit ramp to merge onto University Avenue. At the fourth traffic light, bear to the extreme left onto Baltimore Avenue.
Drivers coming in along I-76 westbound should take Exit 346B—University Avenue and continue along to the eighth traffic light. (The street will change names from Vare Avenue to 34th Street and then become University Avenue after you cross Schuylkill River.) Then bear to the extreme left onto Baltimore Avenue.
Baltimore and Woodland avenues fork about a block from University Avenue. Take the left-hand fork through to Woodland Avenue. Take the right-hand fork and stay on Baltimore Avenue.
At the first traffic light on Woodland Avenue, make a left onto 42nd Street and follow around to the parking lots. Take Baltimore Avenue until you reach 45th Street, then turn left. See the Parking information for details.

From Within Philadelphia via SEPTA
Use the online SEPTA transit map to determine your bus, trolley and subway routes. Your destination stop is Woodland Avenue and 43rd Street, via the #36 or #11 trolley line.
From Philadelphia International Airport via SEPTA
Visit SEPTA for routes and schedules. Take the SEPTA Airport Rail Line to Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Trains run every 20 to 30 minutes. From the 30th Street Station, board the westbound SEPTA trolley (green line) #36 or #11 to Woodland Avenue and 43rd Street stop.
From Philadelphia International Airport via Taxi
Approximate fare to the university is $30.
From Southern New Jersey via PATCO High Speed Line
Visit PATCO for routes and schedules. Arrive at Jefferson Station at Eighth and Market streets. Then board the westbound SEPTA Market-Frankford Line (blue line) to 30th Street Station. Take the westbound trolley (green line) #36 or #11 to Woodland Avenue and 43rd Street.
From Anywhere via Amtrak
Visit Amtrak for routes and schedules. Arrive at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Taxi to the university is about $15. Or board the westbound SEPTA trolley (green line) #36 or #11 to Woodland Avenue and 43rd Street stop.
