The histories and aspirations of the city&#8217;s diverse communities, not to mention popular culture, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillymag.com\/ticket\/2016\/01\/19\/decoding-all-the-philly-references-in-espos-enormous-old-city-mural-part-1\/\">local references<\/a> and even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.philly.com\/philly\/business\/real_estate\/commercial\/Philly-agency-seeks-proposals-for-Mantua-site-after-surrendering-eminent-domain-battle-.html\">legal battles<\/a>, are found in the hundreds of murals and graffiti works found throughout Philly.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The images on this site capture sections of a handful of the many creative works scattered throughout the city.<\/p>\n<p>Some are works sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.muralarts.org\/\">Mural Arts Philadelphia<\/a> and others are associated with local businesses.
