Inclusion and accessibility are extremely important to us in the WordPress Community as well as at WordCamp Philly, and we are dedicated to meeting the needs of all who would like to join us. Captioning & Interpretive Services<\/h2>\n

As in the past, we will be providing CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation) services from White Coat Captioning<\/a> for all major presentation tracks at WordCamp Philly. If requested by September 1, 2019<\/b>, we will do our best to accommodate ASL or other interpretive needs as well.<\/p>\n

Child Care<\/h2>\n

Free child care will be offered at PAFA from 9 am-5 pm October 5 as needed. Enjoy the conference while your kids have fun with My Fair Nanny’s<\/a> experienced sitters! Please let us know if you will require child care by September 1, 2019<\/b>, at the latest to ensure that we secure the appropriate number of caregivers. Private lactation\/nursing space will also be available at the venue.<\/p>\n

Food<\/h2>\n

Snacks and lunch are included with your admission! We ask that when you purchase your ticket you let us know of any dietary restrictions or food requirements so we can ensure options are made available for all attendees. Please also inform us of any life-threatening allergies that would affect your WordCamp experience upon ticket purchase.<\/p>\n

Color Communication Stickers & Preferred Pronoun Pins<\/h2>\n

We will have color communications badges again this year. These color badges are stickers that can be placed on a name badge and will enable people to express their communication preferences quickly and non-verbally. The badges are adapted from the versions popularized by the Autistic Self Advocacy Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We will also provide pins so you can easily let other attendees know of your preferred pronouns.<\/p>\n

Parking<\/h2>\n

Discounted visitor parking is available at the Parkway Corporation Garage at the southwest corner of Broad and Race streets and at their outdoor lot at the northeast corner of 15th and Cherry streets. Wheelchair accessible spaces are available on the third level of garage and in the outdoor lot. Be sure to get your ticket validated before you leave PAFA. Service animals are welcome.<\/p>\n

Accessibility & Other Needs<\/h2>\n

PAFA\u2019s galleries are accessible for wheelchairs through the Broad Street entrance of the Hamilton Building. Visitors can access this entrance using the button on the front of the building and staff or security will greet visitors and assist them. Passenger elevators in both buildings move between floors of galleries.<\/p>\n

WordCamp Philly is open to all. Let us know of any accessibility or other needs we can help address so you are able to attend.<\/p>\n
