First and most important thing to know: You Are Welcome Here! It doesn’t matter whether you are new to WordPress, or aren’t familiar with the terminology. You are welcome whether or not you’ve gone to WordPress Meetups, or feel that you are somehow different from “people who go to WordCamps.” If you are interested in WordPress, WordCamp is for you, no matter who you are.
Need a Place to Stay? See our Hotel Information
If you’re coming in from out of town for WordCamp Philly 2018 and looking for a place to stay, the city has a number of options. We do not have rooms for the event this year, but we do have hotel information for you.
The University City area is the closest to the University of the Sciences that has a concentration of hotels. Many people coming to the area use Airbnb; last year some of the locations available were within a 10-minute walk of the university.

In all likelihood, some attendees were scratching their heads trying to decide which to buy. Go for the Saturday-Sunday ticket, even though they weren’t sure they’d actually attend Contributor Day? Or just get the Saturday ticket and risk missing out if they really wanted to go to Contributor Day after all?
Problem solved! This year, there’s only one ticket, and it will get you access to all of the WordCamp Philly goodness. Continue reading “Which Ticket Should I Get?”
