As the big weekend approaches, WordCamp Philly attendees are asking us lots of questions. First-timers are especially uncertain of what to expect when they arrive. Relax — we promise you there’s nothing to worry about.
Here’s a rundown of the most common questions we’ve seen. We have answers!
Given the overwhelmingly positive response that we received last year, we’re so pleased to share Color Communications Badges again with all attendees at WordCamp Philly this year. We will distribute a sticker sheet to each person who asks for one -– and each sticker sheet will contain all three color communications badges.
These color badges are stickers that can be placed on a name badge and will enable people to express their communication preferences quickly and non-verbally.

The WordCamp Philly 2018 Designer track will focus on both design and content this year. We have a pair of talks on design processes to help you work quickly and efficiently; speakers who will focus on color and typography; sessions related to UX and writing for the web; and even a little something on social media.

WordCamp Philly will provide a Saturday packed with activities and a Sunday afternoon of community. But if you have a little extra time, you may want to check out things to see and do in the city.
We have some suggestions and links to ideas for you — as well as some pointers if you’re looking for a place to eat while you’re here.
From the time you walk into WordCamp Philly and register, we’ll make sure you are well fed! Coffee, tea and ice water will be served throughout the day.
WordCamp Philly will again have a Happiness Bar where attendees can seek assistance with troubleshooting and answers to their specific questions.
This year we’ll feature a bonus for WordPressers with a business focus: Kelly Heard will be available at the Happiness Bar starting at 1:30 pm Saturday, October 27, to assist you with your SEO questions.
